There is a library in every university, some schools pay special attention to the building of the library, because the library always on behalf of presentation of a school. We can find all kinds of books in the room, library provides convenience, but it still has space to improve.
On the one hand, we can check the information and go to the library every day. It is open all the week, and the time is from 8 o’clock to 10 o’clock. On the other hand, the library needs to improve its equipment. The books on the library are very old, it is not good for students to do some research paper. The amount of the computer is not enough, I always find the students wait for the computer, while some students need to use the computer for a long time. So there will be better if increase the number of the computer.
Despite these drawbacks, I am generally pleased with the library and hope that it will continue to make improvement in the future.

In recent years,the office medias have pointed out that students time spend in the library dropped tremendously from 30 hours a week to about 10 hours a week,while their time spend on the E-books soared from 15 hours a week to 28 hours a week.
There are probably a variety of reasons for this the one hand,as smart phones and other mobile devices spread,people have been hooked on everything related to digital technology,paper books are increasingly replaced by digital ones. On the other hand,in this fast-paced culture, it enables people to get E-books more quickly and easily,and to carry more than one book by just one device.Digital books make it possible to read in pieces of time and to gain much more information and knowledge.

A big library has been built for people in our city. It was finished in June. It will be open in July. The library is on Zhongshan Road, next to the Science Museum. Being one of the oldest university libraries in China the history of Zhejiang University Library can be traced back to 1897 when Qiushi Academy Library was founded. In September 1998 a new Zhejiang University was established on the basis of the amalgamation of the four former individual universities namely Zhejiang University Hangzhou University Zhejiang Agricultural University and Zhejiang Medical University. The libraries of these universities were correspondingly merged into the unified Zhejiang University Libraries (ZUL)。
ZUL consists of five branch libraries in separate locations in Hangzhou: the Library of science and Technology in Yuquan Campus the Library of Art and Science in Xixi Campus the Library of Agriculture in Huajiachi Campus the Library of Medicine and the Library of Basic Subjects in Zijingang Campus.
