Honorable jaduges ,ladies and gentlemen ,good afternoon !
I feel honored to be here ,giving me speech to you . Today my topic is “ the pursuit of dreams “
I would like to begin my speech with a short poem , entitled Dreams .Hold fast to dreams ,for if dreams die ,life is a broken-winged bird that can not fly ;hold fast to dreams ,for when dreams go ,life is a barren field ,frozen with snow .In this poem ,to some extent ,we can know the importance of dreams .
I am sure all of you here ,have your own dreams ,since we are in youth ,which is the golden period of our life ,full of imagination ,creativity ,enthusiasm and strength .We should have dreams .It can be our guiding star ,hanging in front of us ,lighting our way .When we feel puzzled ,tired or depressed ,it is our dreams guiding us ,let us go forward bravely .
My dear audience ,as a college student what kind of dream should we have ? Maybe you will say “well ,it depends “.I think so ,but there still exist some basic requirements and expectations about our dreams . We are young ,representing the future of our country . We should have a high sense of duty towards our family ,our country .we must link our dream with the demands and prosperity of our country .Have a great dream !
Just as when we see the collapsed school in the earthquake ,the poor children under the concrete and steel , besids sympathy ,I really hope that I am an engineer ,who can build the strongest and unshakable school for them . When I heared four girls of Shanghai Business School jumped out of the balcony from the 6th floor ,for their domitory was on fire . I really hope that I am a qualified manager who can take preventive measures to avoid the disaster ,and offer help as soon as possible,if it really happened .
In our youth,we should have dream and pursue our dream bravely .Then when we grow old ,looking back ,we would feel no regret for this period of life . Hope all of you here ,have your dream and through your effort ,all of your dreams can come ture !
Thank you very much ! ladies and gentlemen .
I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day every vally shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.
Wow, what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King. But the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up, and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams.
However, we meed dreams. They nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. When we were little kids, we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. Well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. Don’t let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future. Through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we will make it.
Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today.
Good morning !
My great pleasure to share my dream with you today.when i was a child, iwanted to be a teacher. my father was a teacher, and he taught me a lot. iworshiped him very much. on my tenth birthday, he asked me,“what do you want tobe when you grow up?”i answered proudly,“i want to be a teacher like you!”onhearing this, my father was very happy and said to me, “work hard and your dreamwill come true.”
Not long ago, one of my primary school teachers was ill. she wanted me totake her place for two weeks. i was glad but nervous. my father said to me,“thisis a good chance. seize it! i wish you success!” when i came into the classroom, the children were very happy. i introduced myself to them. soon, i got on wellwith them. they all liked me and i loved them. with my father and headmastershelp, i did the work very well. now, i often miss those lovely children.
That experience had made me even more interested in being a teacher in thefuture.
Ladies and Gentlemen:
It’s my great honor to stand here to share my speech with you. Today the topic of my speech is: The Pursuit of Dream.
Now let’s think of our old days as we were students in primary schools. Have you ever remembered that the teachers often ask questions as “what’s your dream?”, or “what are you want to be in the future?” and what’s your answer in that childish and fantastic age? Has anyone of you answered like this: “I want to be a painter”, or “I want to be a scientist”, or “I plan to be a police”?
A few years later, we start our new journey of study in high schools and become mature and practical in our mind. Then, have you ever changed your dreams? If so, what’s it?
But now, I think, most of us become down-to-earth and the dream is more practical than before. However, have you taken actions to pursue your dream? Are you working hard enough to make your dream come true?
As for myself, I have dreamed to be an excellent police in high school due to there are so many thefts in my hometown while they are seldom caught. Sooner I have realized how ridiculous am I and now I turn to realistic: I just want to be a translator.
How do I pursue my dream?
First of all, I try my best to correct the pronunciation and read the textbook or other English magazines such as: English weekly, English salon and the like. I try to do this day by day. Now I have improved my reading ability a lot and it also enlarged my vocabulary.
Secondly, I often do some translating extension and embrace my teacher’s suggestion. It benefits me much.
Last but not the least, I realize my dream by reading Chinese literature. Maybe you will say it’s what the Chinese major students should do. If you say so, you are badly wrong. For as an English major student, how can you know others well if you even don’t familiar with your country? On the other hand, it also benefits me in translation and writing.
In a word, I have already working in my dream. What about you?
That’s all. Thank you.
I have a dream today.

Good afternoon,everyone ! I’m very glad to stand here to share my ideas with you. My name is humeiyuan , the subject of my presentation is dream. At first.what is dream ?as chengdongqing that “Dreams are one of those things that keep you going and happy!” Different people have different dreams, no matter dream dreams are big or small,they keep us going and happy . Martin Luther King has a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal. Wrightbrothers dream to fly in the sky. Xijinping, Dream is To realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.the Chinese dream is a dream of national strength prosperity and people, happiness. Steve Jobs dreams to create something that can change the world. The Migrant workers dreams to make more money ,and Give the family a better life Xubenyu dreams Every poor child can receive education. Everyone has his own dream about life. Northeastern University_ the place to start your dream. Do you have a dream.have you forgeten or lose your dream? Anybody who can share your dreams with us. Dream is a forever smile that make your soul pure. Dream will give us much more of confidence and courage whenever we are in the breaking point .Dream give us a direction ,dirtecting us to the road which is full of sunlight. Dreams are like a lamp, guiding you in darkness and helping you overcome obstacles(障碍 物)on your way. Otherwise, you will easily get lost or hesitate to go ahead. we need dreams to chart our course. We need dreams to support us. With a dream, we have a direction. With a direction, we will never be confused. With a dream, we have hope. With hope, we have the strength to fight. You got a dream, you gotta protect it. In the movie The Pursuit of Happiness, Chris Ghana(Will Smith) is a clever salesman, his hard work hard work, but overall no way to make a better life at home. No income, nowhere to go, Chris sole owner, is the sensible son of unconditional trust and love. They are homeless at night, sleep in shelters, subway stations, public bathrooms, and all you can for the time being housed in open spaces;
day meal money on the line and get relief, eating barely wrapped belly food. Extremely frustrating to live in poverty, but to his son's future, in order to their own dream, Chris teeth, and always believe: Just today, work hard enough, happiness will come tomorrow! Heaven rewards those who are righteously, Chris eventually become a successful investment professionals. Life is tough. There are always ups and downs. Maybe we fail on the way to our dreams. The more you stumble and fall, the more you get right back up and get going again!there is nothing like a dream to build up our body and create the future. So stick to your dream and never give up your dream easily. Nothing is impossible for a strong willing heart !If you want to do something ,you will find a way ,just do it ! today I hope you will remember that no matter whether it is happiness or suffering we will experience now, our future is always here, waiting for us to paint beautiful pictures. What you need to do is just to believe yourself and stick to your dream. Because only if we hold our dreams, can we brighten our future.

In calling upon society in advance, era. The classmates, time and tide wait for no man! Of our fathers, and the teacher's cultivation, we are here to accept the baptism of youth, from here to chase the dream. Lost a teenager's stubborn, correction arose up coordinates; Full power to study hard, make life more colorful. I firmly believe that respect for the teacher, you, is our lead.
Every day, English teacher again and again repeated his patience; The math teacher rounds of interpretation of his profound; The teacher in charge teacher day after day superposition with his persistence and sweat. Our teacher, a day's homework in the morning mist combinations, and trying to impart knowledge; In the dim light of night off every classmate, selfless fearless devoted love.

Good morning !
my great pleasure to share my dream with you today. my dream is to become a teacher....
As the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coexist in our life. I don’t expect complete freedom, which is impossible. I simply have a dream that supports my life.
I dream that one day, I could escape from the deep sea of thick schoolbooks and lead my own life. With my favorite fictions, I lie freely on the green grass, smelling the spring, listening to the wind singing, breathing the fresh and cool air and dissolve my soul in nature at last. Simple and short enjoyment can bring me great satisfaction.
I dream that one day the adults could throw their prejudice of comic and cartoon away. They could keep a lovely heart that can share sorrow and happiness with us while watching cartoon or doing personal things. That’s the real communication of heart to heart.
I have the belief that my dreams should come true. I am looking forward to some day coming when I am like a proud eagle, which flies to the blue and vast sky.
Every one has his own dream. When I was a little kid ,my dream was even to have a candy shop of my own .But now ,when I am 16 years old ,standing here ,my dreams have already changed a lot.
I have got quite different experience from other girls. While they were playing toys at home, while they were dreaming to be the princesses in the story .I was running in the hard rain, jumping in the heavy snow, pitching in the strong wind.Nothing could stop me ,because of a wonderful call from my heart -- to be an athlete.Yeah ,of course ,I'm an athlete,I'm so proud of that all the time .
When I was 10 years old ,I became a shot-put athlete. The training was really hard ,I couldn't bear the heavy shot in my hands .But I always believe that god only help those who help themselves.During those hard days,I find I was growing more quickly than others of the same age.To be an athlete is my most correct choice. But,I quit my team after entering high school because of a silly excuse.I really didn't want to stop my sports career anyway.
Today I say to you my friends that even though I must face the difficulties of yesterday ,today and tomorrow .I still have a dream .It is a dream deeply rooted in my soul.
I have a dream that one day ,I can run, jump and pitch just like I used to be.
I have a dream that one day , I can go back to my dream sports and join the national team.
I have a dream that one day ,I can stand on the hig
hest place at the olympic games. With all the cameras pointing at me.I will tell everyone that I'm so proud to be a Chinese athlete!
This is my hope .This is the faith that I continue my steps with!!!
With this faith ,I will live though the strong wind and heavy rain ,never give up !
So let victory ring from my heart, from all of you. When we allow victory to ring .I must be the one!
In my imagination,I'm a bird ,a magical bird.I carry my dreams all with me by my big wings. I fly though the mountains ,though the forests ,over the sea,to the sun ,the warmest place in the aerospace!
Every night ,I have a dream ,I see a girl ---smiling

The world changed when James Watt invented the first steam engine, when Isaac Newton discovered the universal gravitation after hit by an apple, when Karl Marx wrote The Communist Manifesto, when Chairman Mao solemnly declared the establishment of the People's Republic of China on the Tian'anmen Rostrum, when Martin Luther King cried out “I have a dream”. The world was changed by something called dream, which is invisible, untouchable but strong enough.
I can assure that every child have written a composition titled My Dream. They have already written down their longing for the future. Some of them want to become scientists; some of them hope to become teachers or doctors. Maybe they didn’t know how many difficulties they will face before their dream come true. But the dreams are like small seeds planted in their hearts; like the beacon in the sea that lead them to their destinations.
Dream is the fountain of strength. Dream is the support of faith. Dream is the Polaris. Dream reminds us to move forward, to struggle, to strive all the time. One of my friends told me that dream will never discard anyone! Yes, maybe one day everything is gone but dreams is still there with you, eternally.
Dream changed us, and therefore we changed the world. It is dream that refreshes the world every day. It is also dream that makes the world improve day by day. We dare to dream. We can also achieve our dreams and change the world.
I can’t imagine the world without dreams. How about you?
