almost everyone knows the famous chinese saying:a young idler,an old beggar. throughout history,we have seen many cases in which this saying has again and again proved to be true.
it goes without saying that the youth is the best time of life,during which one's mental and physical states are at their peaks. it takes relatively less time and pains to learn or accept new things in a world full of
changes and rapid developments. in addition,one is less likely to be under great pressure from career,family and health problems when young. therefore,a fresh mind plus enormous energy will ensure success in different aspects of life.
同学们：
上午好！
为了使全校师生过上一个平安、快乐、文明、祥和、健康、有益的寒假和春节，所以，我们今天在这里集会：一是对在本学期爱护学校、勤奋学习、热爱劳动、遵纪守法等分面表现优秀的学生进行表彰；二是对大家在寒假里安全方面提几点要求。现在进行第一项：
一、表彰优秀学生
本学期，经过全体老师的辛勤教育和同学们的勤奋学习，下溪小学又涌现出了一大批优秀的学生，深得老师和同学们的喜爱，他们是？？愿获得表彰的同学戒骄戒躁，再接再厉！愿没有获奖的学生，更加努力，相信自己。只要努力，就一定会有收获！请记住：机遇永远属于那些遵纪守法、热爱劳动、勤奋刻苦，持之以恒，拥有毅力的强者。我们期待下次的领奖台上，有你！下面进行第二项：
二、安全教育
安全涉及的内容很多，我想从以下几个方面讲一下寒假期间的安全问题，以及在春节期间的注意事项。
1、关爱自己，时刻紧绷安全之弦
老师们和各位的家长每天所最惦记的就是你们的健康和安全。据了解，每年因各种事故，数以万计天真无邪的儿童少年死于非命，相当于每天要消失一个班的学生（重大自然灾害除外），这给社会、给家庭带来了非常的不幸，给很多父母造成无法愈合的创伤。因此，同学们要牢固树立“安全第一”的思想，懂得安全的重要意义，做到：安全第一，从我做起；安全第一，从小事做起。
2、遵守交通规则，注意交通安全
春节是走亲访友的高峰期，也是各类交通安全事故多发期，希望同学们在寒假期间遵守交通法规，外出要遵守交通规则，同时严禁在公路上追逐打闹和进行各类游戏活动。注意乘车（请你继续关注本站：）安全，报废车不要乘；无牌无照的'车不要乘；超载、拥挤的车不要坐。
3、严禁燃放烟花爆竹
接近春节，烟花爆竹大量上市，一些“三无”劣质产品偷偷上市，
务必告知家长在购买时一定要注意，在正规的经销处购买。春节燃烧鞭炮、焰火时，要由家长点燃，要在宽敞地方放，不要对准人放，避免造成人员伤亡，严防伤害事故发生。鞭炮、烟花的威力很大，稍有不慎会致伤你身体残疾（手折、眼瞎），甚至造成生命危险。严禁学生擅自燃放烟花爆竹。
4、防火、防电、防煤气
寒假期间我们每天都可能会与火、与电、与煤气打交道，同学们要了解有关知识，在生活中要注意消除水、火、气、电等存在的隐患，严禁学生身带火种，做到不玩火；严禁触摸电线、开关、插座等带电设施。
5、不到池塘、河湾、水库边沿玩耍、嬉水和滑冰，若发生事故，要大声呼救，不盲目下水营救。
6、出门必须和家长打招呼，并按时回家。不准未告知家长私自外出、外宿和远游，防止被绑架、拐骗或走失。
7、养成良好的卫生习惯，注意饮食卫生，不暴饮、暴食，要合理饮食，不吃腐烂变质的食物，不买“三无”食品，每个同学在假期中要做到不抽烟、不喝酒、不赌博。生活要有规律，按时起居，多锻炼，预防疾病，提高身体素质。
8、同学们在家要帮助父母做家务和参加有益的社会实践活动，制定好寒假学习计划，认真完成寒假作业和老师布置的作业（3至6年级的学生寒假期间要读一本好书，每天写一篇日记）。
同学们，安全重于泰山，希望大家要自我监督，严格要求，防患于未然，安全意识要警钟长鸣。尤其是寒假期间，不安全因素较多。因此，更要强化安全意识，提高防范能力，时时刻刻都要注意自身以及周围人群的安全。从今天开始就放假寒假了，下学期开学时间是：2月15、16号两天时间报到、注册，（就是农历：正月十六、十七），正月十八正式上课，希望同学们到时携带假期作业来校办理入学手续。

珍惜我们现在所拥有的财富，让自己活得更充实，更快乐。虽然我们现在没有金钱，没有腰缠万贯，不能达到物质上的满足，但是我们有自己的一片天空，有属于自己的自由，虽不是物质上的富翁，我们依旧可以富可敌国，因为……
我们是健康的。有人追求金钱上的富裕，有人想得到物质上的满足，却常常忽略了，只有健康才是属于我们的财富。拥有健康的体魄，我们才可以去创造财富，去争夺荣誉。
我们是智慧的，每天坐在教室里，享受着阳光，在优雅的环境中，接受知识的洗礼，我们还可以用知识打败对手，开拓领域，同时也可以感受到拥有的快乐和同学间的友谊。其乐融融!
我们拥有时间。正值青春年少的我们，拥有时间，去创造自己想要的成就，我们拥有时间去改变。似水流年，不要让时间流逝，不要让自己后悔。
珍惜我们所拥有的，无论是血浓于水的亲情，坦诚相待的友情还是朝夕相处的师生情……
这一切，都是我们的财富;
这一切，都是我们成长的见证;
这一切，都是我们肩负的责任……
